Welcome to the Campfire Mastermind Circle. This blog idea was born saturday nite July 17, 2010 while chatting on Skype with my new 30 day challenge friends David Porter, Rebecca Johnson, and Amber Keinath.
We are obviously in the incubator stage for this inspiration, but here’s the basics as I see it:
A weekend campout in the Hill Country of Texas near Wimberly, on Rebecca’s 7 acres (time TBD).
Masterminding around the campfire.
Special guests to be invited…for a hint, required reading to attend this event are the three books over there to the right!!!

Next Campfire Mastermind BlogTalkRadio Show with Mark Horn
It’s time for another virtual Campfire Mastermind on the BlogTalkRadio show! Mr. Mark Horn will be the guest speaker, and the topics will include but not be limited to: masterminding (ONE HOUR MASTERMIND and SMART GOALS as used by Andrew Carnegie), social media, mindmapping, and project organizing.
Mark has been somewhat underground in the Internet Marketing world for many years, working for and with many of the big name gurus. He’s recently launched Liquid Life Solutions, a multi-faceted project that he’ll share on the call. Mark is also a valued member of our Campfire Mastermind, and has a wealth of masterminding experience to share.
Join us Sunday nite on the call and be prepared to pick Mark’s brain on a variety of subjects. He has actually promised us a bit of preparatory homework (read “Think and Grow Rich“–download ebook for 99 cents!), so stay tuned for that as well. Here’s the link for the BlogTalkRadio show:

Core Mastermind Formed!

The core group of Campfire Mastermind was firmed up today with the decision of Mark Horn to join by popular request! Mark has a wide and deep experience level in online marketing, and is a prime example of selecting members for your mastermind who are at a level somewhat above yours 
. I think the thing that tipped the scale in Mark’s decision to join was the live Campfire Mastermind we are plotting in the Texas hill country…;-). But whatever the reason, we are thrilled to have him!
Our first official core group mastermind call will take place tomorrow. We’ll be using GoToMeeting to faciliate it and record it. This software works well because the moderator can present things on their computer screen for all to see, and members can use their computer to follow while using either headphones or calling in by phone.
We’ll be conspiring about the next Campfire Mastermind BlogTalkRadio show theme and guest, and massive planning for the live event in the Texas Hill Country! Stay tuned for further developments…

Imaginary Mastermind?

Have you ever heard of an imaginary mastermind? This was just one of the topics/questions about masterminding that came up on my recent BlogTalkRadio show “Virtual Campfire Mastermind“.
Bill Hibbler, who co-wrote the book “Meet and Grow Rich“, was on the call fielding some really good questions from my callers. Most of it was relating masterminding to your online marketing business, but there were some great general tips also.
I consider masterminding to be one of the two concepts you must understand and put into action to skyrocket your business! To hear the replay of the show just go here:
